Wrestling Coach

Coach Jack brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the sport of wrestling to his coaching role. A Texas native, Jack’s wrestling career began in 6th grade and soon after became a part of 3f wrestling club where he trained throughout highschool. Jack had a standout high school career at Westlake Highschool, where he established himself as one of the top wrestlers in the state. He won three Texas high school state titles and claimed multiple freestyle and Greco-Roman state championships, along with four district and regional titles. Jack’s competitive drive also earned him three All-American placements at the prestigious Fargo National Championships.

Jack continued to build on his success at the University of Northern Iowa, where he was a three-year starter for the Panthers. His collegiate career reached new heights in 2020 when he qualified for the NCAA Championships after finishing 5th at the Big 12 Tournament. His work ethic, technical proficiency, and competitive spirit made him a key contributor to the UNI wrestling program.

In 2023, Jack moved back to Austin, Texas, where he currently works in tech sales. Despite his career in business, Jack remains deeply committed to giving back to the sport that shaped his life. He is passionate about helping young athletes unlock their full potential, both on and off the mat. His experience at the highest levels of wrestling, combined with his personal dedication to the sport, makes him uniquely equipped to guide athletes in their pursuit of excellence.

Jack’s goal is to push every wrestler to achieve their best, fostering a love for the sport and instilling the discipline, toughness, and resilience that wrestling teaches. With a deep understanding of both the technical and mental aspects of wrestling, he is excited to help the next generation of wrestlers succeed and continue the legacy of this great sport.
